VILT stands for Virtual Instructor-Led Training
No. The cost of the training session remains the same, regardless of whether it’s taken in-person or VILT.
Students are required to have a desktop or laptop computer with a webcam, microphone, audio, and a stable internet connection.
Tablets and smartphones are not permitted to be utilized to attend a VILT course.
Yes, your webcam must be turned on throughout the duration of the training.
No, you do not need to be in an office to attend a VILT session; however, your training location of choice should be quiet environment free of distractions and is suitable for virtual learning.
Students should be fully focused during the VILT session. Students who are driving, walking around, off-camera, or otherwise distracted will be removed from the training and required to reschedule for a time when they can fully participate.
We use Zoom and Blackboard to conduct VILT session. For courses with a testing element we also use Respondus Lockdown Browser during testing.
Yes!
We do not recommend using a work computer; however, if you are using a work computer, you may need to check with your IT department prior to the start of the class to confirm that the above programs are accessible.
*Blackboard and Respondus LockDown Browser are only utilized during OSHA 510, OSHA 511, OSHA 500, and OSHA 501. Specific course requirements will be listed in the Zoom invitation email sent prior to the start of the class.
Course materials will be shipped directly to the address provided prior to the start of the course. Materials vary by course, please see the confirmation email for the specific course material delivery.

A digital copy of your completion certificate will be emailed to you approximately one week after the course has concluded.
If the course also includes a completion card, this will be mailed to the address you provided during the training session within 90 days of course completion.
